Every Thursday from May to October, Washington Street opens its gates to the Daley Plaza Farmers Market. This is the perfect place to pick up a meticulously grown, hand-crafted treat before work. The assortment of fresh cheeses, fruits and vegetables, breads and pastries is so spectacular, you may never shop at a grocery store again. You have access to the artisans and growers of the food, and they are happy to answer any questions about their products' origins or how to prepare them.
