Modeled after the grand old hotel bars in Ireland, The Heather has a 25 ft oak bar, hard wood floor reclaimed from the Guinness brewery in Dublin, original Guinness advertising from 1920s to present day, oak paneled snugs and a copper clad feature wall. A large selection of bottled craft beers, a tidy line up of draft beer, Vancouver's only permanent real ale on tap, a decent wine list and access to Shebeen's monster whisk(e)y list, makes the Irish Heather is a playground for grown ups. Our kitchen features honest, made from scratch, GastroPub food using fresh local ingredients. I.e. everyday we make pasta, potpies, bread, soup, smoke fish, brine turkey, etc. From breakfast to dinner, take-out lunch to canap?s, our team 1130 am-midnight can cater to your every requirement. Open from 1130 am-midnight Sun-Wed and 1130 am-1 am Thurs-Sat. BC law does not permit minors in the Irish Heather, but we are allowed to serve minors at our communal table and are delighted to do so.
