Island Creek Oyster Bar, ICOB, a favorite among the Boston crowd, serves an ever changing list of fresh oysters harvested primarily from Massachusetts, with occasional offerings from Canada, Washington State, California and other North American locals. As a matter of fact, the farm where the oysters are raised is listed next to each offering. ICOB takes great pride in offering seafood and shellfish from the local aquaculture farms. If "raw" is not your thing, take relief I knowing ICOB that baked and fried options exist as well. Beyond the oyster, other New England sourced products pervade the menu. Jeremy Sewall, the executive chef and a co-owner, meticulously focuses on blending fresh, local and tasty and that combination sets ICOB above the rest.
