Manuel's original downtown location opened in 1984. The restaurant expertly combines true to form Mexican flavors with contemporary presentation in a hip setting. What sets Manuel's apart from its other Mexican restaurant counterparts is its religious use of seasonal and natural ingredients; the wild caught fish and seafood are butchered by hand and the proteins are all natural. After an order of the addictive guacamole and salsa, Manuel's Classic Lime Cured Ceviche with fresh Yellow Fin Tuna and any one of the Chile Rellenos are excellent choices.
