Tony Priolo and Ciro Longobardo had a Piccolo Sogno, or, "little dream" to open up a restaurant of their own, where the food and wine alike were reminiscent of authentic Italian cooking. In 2008, Priolo and Longobardo realized their dream and opened up Piccolo Sogno on North Halsted Street in Chicago. Through the years, the mission of the restaurant has been to transform fresh, local ingredients into traditional and delicious regional Italian dishes.
