The Pioneer Memorial Museum displays artifacts and relics dating back to when the earliest Mormon pioneers settled in Salt Lake Valley to escape religious persecution in Illinois. From authentic spinning wheels, to photographs, to precious decorative items, the Pioneer Memorial Museum maintains the largest specialized collection of its kind in the entire world. The Museum also allows visitors to sort through documents and research their pioneer ancestry in the History Department.
